 I have been a record trader for over 25 years and I would say that my grading of records (ie judging the condition of records such as mint, excellent, vg, good, etc.) is accurate most of the time (nobody's perfect!) If you win an item and you disagree with my grading, please contact me so that we can resolve the matter amicably. I am always willing to offer a refund. I send all my records in record mailers which are further strengthened with cardboard stiffener. So you can rely on your prized item arriving in the same condition that it left me. I know how disappointing it is to receive damaged items that have been badly packaged, so I ensure that everything posted by me is professionally packaged and secure.

Grading Definitions

I try to grade fairly on records and as a guideline i have listed some details which is my opinion only, (some times the picture taken can show slightly lighter colour of sleeve or show light on record )

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition.

 EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and the contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
