Description
Jimi Hendrix Experience 'Electric Ladyland' (1968 Track Records 613 008 / 009)
***No outer sleeve. Please see below for info on the vinyls themselves***
Going by Discogs this is clearly an early pressing. On side A on disc 1 and side B on disc 2 (disc 1 has sides A and D, dosc 2 has sides B and C) stamped matrix numbers have been scratched out and added by hand, as per the below. # denotes a scratching out and italics denote hand written characters:
1A) 61300 ## 8 A // 1 1 (followed by another two stamped characters I cannot make out) 2B) 61300# 9A# //1 1 (followed by another stamped character I cannot make out)
The other two matrix codes are as follows:
1D) 613008 B (inverted triangle) 2 420 1 2 (I think) 1 2C) 613009 B// 2420 112
Both vinyls are in nice, clean condition, minimal wear, no major scratches etc. They have obviously been played a few times but are in great shape considering their age. Please note that I do not grade records using professional grading systems, however, I own a large vinyl collection and understand what is good condition and what isn't.
I think the poly-lined inner sleeves may be the originals - I can provide you with the serial codes on them if necessary. The lining has come loose on one of them.
Hopefully this album, regardless of the fact it has no sleeve, will go to someone who appreciates Hendrix.
***Please message me if you need more info/photos etc - I would much rather you ask me lots of questions and ask for more info than you win the album and are then not happy with what you have received***
