JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE Electric Ladyland HOLLAND Polydor 2 x LP GATEFOLD SLEEVE
The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Electric Ladyland.
Holland manufactured Polydor Records stereo 2 x LP set housed in fully glossed gatefold sleeve, 2612 037.
Undated, but has orange paper labels with black print. Individual LPs are also catalogued as 2335 203/4.
Vinyl play grades around VG. The short track A1 and the intro of A2 display a little crackle. C1 has slight intro crackle. There is some other minor crackle during the quieter spots and one instance of two consecutive ticks. Else a strong EX throughout.
Note that I have cleaned the LPs with a Knosti "two bath" method. This involves an initial clean and then a thorough rinse with distilled water to remove any residue. The LPs have been placed in new plain sleeves and the original plain sleeves discarded to avoid contamination of the cleaned LPs.
The gatefold sleeve has clearly suffered water damage in the past. It is now completely dried out and without noticeable staining. A slight musty aroma but not overpoweringly so. The sleeve has been left with slight overall rippling type creasing. All panels of the sleeve have been photographed to show the extent of this. There is slight creasing to the right hand entry sides. The rear panel has a thin approx. two inch scrape mark at top left. Else sleeve fairly well preserved and with only light wear.
