Issue : UK Stereo Laminated 1st Polydor Press

This is an auction for the UK 1st Polydor press of Electric Ladyland by The Jimi Hendrix Experience. This earliest Polyor press has the original Track matrix numbers in the runout and then the polydor number hand engraved. This issue has the 1st Polydor fully laminated gatefold nude sleeve with large photo of Hendrix and small photos of Mitchell and Redding inside.

Record One in Excellent condition. Each record has the original sensational shine. Record One is very bright with just a couple of very light marks at the start of side one and a very small light mark on side two. Record two is in fabulous Near Mint condition. It has its original stunning bright shine with no marks visible at all. It looks amazing. Each record plays perfectly. Crisp, clear, very bold sound with only the very slightest occasional noise - they sound superb. The red Polydor labels are perfect, bright immaculately clean with sharp text and only the most minimal spindle wear. Each record comes complete with its original polylined patent warning sleeve and both are in Excellent condition.

The laminated gatefold EJ Day cover is in Excellent condition. The laminate shines like new, the colours are bright and the black is bold. There is only the slightest corner wear and a light laminate crease on the front. The inside looks stunning, it looks like it has never seen the light of day.The spine is firm and the whole sleeve feels solid and hardly used.
