This is the UK press of 'Electric Ladyland' by The Jimi Hendrix Experience. This rare early press has the A2/B2/A1/B2 matrix numbers, heavy flat edge records and matt, flat Track labels. The album is complete with the original polylined inner sleeves and Track fully laminated Ernest J Day gatefold sleeve. However what makes this album so exceptional, is it's wonderful rare condition. We are not allowed to show photos of the sleeve.
The records are in Excellent condition. The vinyl is fabulous, jet black with a stunning bright gloss. There is no whitening of the grooves or any sign of heavy play at all. There are just a few wispy insignificant marks on each side. It sits completely flat on the turntable and when played the sound is absolutely superb - rich, vibrant and exceptionally clear. The original matt Track labels are still completely clean. The black is solid, the silver text is sharp and there is only light spindle wear and a few spider marks. Both records are complete with their original polylined inner sleeves in Excellent condition.
The laminated gatefold Ernest J Day sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The laminate has the most wonderful polished shine. The colours are vivid and the black is exceptionally bold. There are a couple of light laminate creases and slight spine wear, but these are pretty insignificant, this sleeve is lovely. The inside is extremely bright and the images are sharp. The edges are extremely firm and the whole sleeve is exceptionally solid.
