Description
So much memorabilia of the legendary Jimi Hendrix is described as rare, but not all of it is.
Have you ever seen one of these before, and when will you see the next one?
This is an original poster from the UK trade magazine “Record Retailer and Music Industry News” issue of 11th May, 1967.
It’s not a reprint or copy. The poster was removed from the wall of Abbey Music Stores in Romsey, Hampshire, England and given to me over 37 years ago.
I’ve treasured it since, but there’s a mark on the top right where the sticky tape was removed, and a small tear on the left just under Jimi’s shoulder.
After all this time, it’s starting to look like the antique that it genuinely is.
If you can’t see its condition from the photo, please contact me and I will email you a larger version.
It measures 30.5cm wide and 39cm high., and will be sent rolled in a tube with extra padding.
