1000 pressed: JIMI HENDRIX colored vinyl 45!
GLORIA/LOOK OVER YONDER (Experience Hendrix #EHB2-14/345 1st pressing colored vinyl with picture sleeve, 2006): UNPLAYED MINT.
Jimi's memorable version of Van Morrison's Gloria remained in the can until 1979, when it was issued as a bonus 45 with the Essential Jimi Hendrix Vol.2 LP. This classic rocker is paired with another 1968 recording, Look Over Yonder, for the 1st time on this, the final single in the box set Classic Singles Collection Vol. 2. Like many of Jimi's posthumous releases, these stereo mixes weren't completed until after his death: Look Over Yonder in 1971, and Gloria in the year 2000.
This special edition 45 is from the Jimi Hendrix Classic Singles Collection Vol. 2 (2006), and is otherwise unavailable. The 10 colored vinyls from the box set are insanely scarce; only 1000 collectors can ever hope to own this 45. This record was fully authorized by Jimi's family; it's not a fake or repro, and is UNPLAYED MINT. The company that issued the set went out of business in 2010, so there won't be any reissues. These singles are seldom seen for individual sale; good luck finding anybody else offering them outside the limited edition, numbered box set......don't miss it!
