Description
Extremely rare Jimi Hendrix 1967 original issue 45 Hey Joe b/w 51st Anniversary Reprise 0572 on the two tone brown and orange label in the original sleeve. I purchased this record in 1967 and it is from my personal collection. It was released on May 1, 1967 and is not a reissue.
The record is in "EX" condition and has the original release brown and orange Reprise label. Later issues were released on the "steamboat" label. Matrix numbers end with 1A/1A (see photos).
The Reprise sleeve is in "EX" condition with some age foxing; the song title and my catalog number are written on the top left corner of the plug side sleeve (see photos).
I grade conservatively based on the following criteria:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
