I am a collector not a dealer and I only sell as part of my collecting activity. I value receiving records in the condition described and I therefore endeavour to provide accurate and fair descriptions of items I am selling. Check my selling feedback if you need reassurance. This is a great copy of what is becoming quite a rare LP.  This is not a mint copy but the audio quality is practically flawless and that is the reason I have kept theis vinyl in my collection for many years. I am selling it now because I have a slightly better looking copy to replace it with. That said however you will struggle to find better vinyl on this LP.

VINYL:  Side 1 grades visually as EX+ with only a very few light hairlines visible under angled halogen light. Side 2 grades VG+ for appearance - down graded because there are three light non-sounding scuffs which again have to be viewed under bright light to be apparent. Overall EX for appearance. In terms of audio this is a great copy and I would give it 9/10 - only the perfectionist would be dissatisfied with the sound quality of this LP.

LABELS: The labels are clean and unmarked with no wear and only a few 'snail trails' to indicate use. Graded EX both sides.

COVER: The major weakness of this LP is the cover. That said however it is very solid and still grades VG, many woould grade it higher. On the positive side it has no major creases only a few laminate creases. No major cornor or opening edge wear. There's a little spine wear but the spine is still 95% readable. The unlaminated back is very clean with little, if any, signs of fingering or fading. However the original vendor placed a shop stamp in the top right corner and the original owner has written his name on it. You can see this is the photograph and if it is an issue for you either pass on this auction or find a copy with poorer vinyl but a better cover which is what I have done.

Please note that unless the play quality is specifically mentioned records are graded visually. I aim to describe the visual appearance of all items accurately using the standards below which are based on the UK Record Collector Price Guide. The highest grade I use now is NEAR MINT ('UNPLAYED' if still sealed in shrink wrap or occasionally full MINT but only if the provenance of the item suggests this to be correct). Records graded EX+ or EX++ would probably be called 'near mint' or 'mint' by most sellers. Please READ THE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY and study photographs to avoid disappointment later. I will refund only on items which do not conform to the description and standards set out here.

GRADING SYSTEM

NEAR MINT: The record appears to be in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and other inserts are perfect. For MINT grading see above

EXCELLENT: The item has been played and may have some light surface marks but there is very little, if any, lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents have slight wear.

VERY GOOD: The record has been played quite alot but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Cover and contents show some wear.

GOOD:The record has been played many times and the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably. The cover and contents are often damaged.

I use EX++,EX+,VG++,VG+ as subsidiary gradings. Unless the record is extremely rare I do not sell items which are less than VG in condition.

I obtain a certificate of posting from the UK Post Office for all items. If an item is lost in the post I will claim on the buyer's behalf and reimburse when the Post Office pays compensation.
