JIMI HENDRIX band of gipsies GATEFOLD LP

2406 002, UK A1 B1 LP, TRACK RECORD LABEL, RELEASED AFTER THE EXPERIENCE SPLIT UP, RECORDED LIVE IN NEW YORK 1970, JIMI HENDRIX WITH BUDDY MILES ON DRUMS & BILLY COX ON BASS.  EARLY PRESSING.  SPELT 'GIPSIES' ON THE LABEL & 'GYPSYS' ON THE INNER GATEFOLD SPREAD.

VINYL - VERY GOOD+

A VERY RESPECTABLE COPY, CLEAN FINISH, THERE ARE SOME LIGHT SURFACE MARKS VISIBLE UNDER LIGHT - NOTHING EXCESSIVE OR OUT OF THE ORDINARY FROM CAREFUL USE, IT PLAYS CLEAR THROUGHOUT, PERHAPS A LITTLE MINOR SURFACE NOISE IN THE OPENING GROOVES OR AN OCCASIONAL POP DURING PLAYBACK.  SOME SPINDLE MARKS VISIBLE ON INSPECTION -

'VERY LITTLE LESSENING IN SOUND QUALITY'

SLEEVE - VERY GOOD

FULLY INTACT.  THERE IS GENERAL SHELF WEAR & SIGNS OF USE THROUGHOUT.  THE SPINE ALTHOUGH NOT SPLIT HAS OBVIOUS SCUFFING & SOME AREAS OF SURFACE TEARING.  SO GENERAL SIGNS OF AGE ETC BUT NOTHING OVERPOWERING.
