GENRE... DOO-WOP. PLEASE TAKE A LOOK. This auction is for a GREAT RAREST OF THE RARE DOO-WOP 45s of JIMMY CASTOR AND THE JUNIORS This Girl Of Mine / Somebody Mentioned Your Name ATOMIC RECORDS Label 45-57-100  100%ORIGINAL STOCK COPY. Condition of this 45 is VG++ looks great with alot of gloss on both sides. Labels are nice on both sides with the original high sheen like most independant labels of the 50s. Plays great. Comes in an original brown sleeve. Trail off areas have numbers etched in as well as the pressing symbol, kinda looks like a J with L. This 45 is extremely rare ,and you won't see this again for some time. It rarely comes up for auction, here is your chance to own one of the if not the best copy known. I have a reserve set on this particular 45 to protect investment value. I do want to add a few things i have discovered on this 45. On bootlegs/Repro's the writting credits on the SOMEBODY MENTIONED YOUR NAME side start at the M in SOMEBODY on originals like this one the writting credits start at the S in SOMEBODY, This copy has the original small crystal clear painted silver print as well, not broken and dull like repros and fakes. the vinyl itself is not pock marked or fish eyed at all. The A side of this 45 also shows that when being pressed the center part of the label has a bowed out effect that shows older manufacturing equipment. Ive seen several early SUN singles use this same effect. Its more than common on original singles of the 50s. Thanks to my fellow ebayers.

Also want to add that in the dead wax is 57-102 & 57-103 Along with pressing plant marks that look like an A or J with an M "HOPE THIS HELPS OUT FELLOW COLLECTORS"
