CONDITION:
A note on grading: We use the UK Record Collector grading system with the addition of a (+) or a (-) to denote a slight increase or decrease in condition. Items described with an aural grade have been carefully played on a Garrard 301 grease bearing turntable paired with a Kondo Silver wired SME 312s tonearm and Koetsu Urushi Cartridge.

Record:
The original Tempo first pressing labels display superbly showing barely any signs of use to the spindle holes. No stickers, writing, rips tears or other detractors. The playing surfaces are flat and true. Under direct angled light the surfaces display a full and complete lustre with very light paper chaffing only – This does not affect play in any shape or form.
Aurally this loud Mono cut 1958 recording is superb …The example available in this auction is possibly the best example we have heard. Condition grade visually and aurally = Excellent to Near Mint (EX to NM) N.B: This is a MONO recording and will sound best when played with a true MONO cartridge.
Cover
The fully laminated flip back West Brothers cover is in exceptional condition, the front slick image and text has retained it’s full colour. No laminate lift or creasing to the front - Mild yellowing only. Each seam is straight and true the corners are sharp and the spine text crisp. The opening edge displays no feathering and is sharp and arrow straight. The back slick is also in superb condition, both flip backs are intact, all text is fully clear and legible. Light crease top right only – No writing, stickers, tears, rips, or laminate problems - Condition grade = Excellent to Near Mint (NM)
