JIMMY DURANTE. (with help from Annabelle). MGM K30257 (US) Frosty The Snowman/(Isn’t It A Shame That) Christmas Comes But Once A Year.This 1950 45 is a scarce and hard to find Christmas gem by that lovable rascal, Jimmy Durante, who does one of the best ever interpretations of ‘Frosty’. I’ve only seen about three or four copies of the 78 in more than twenty five years on the Christmas hunt. If the 78 is hard to find, the 45 is even tougher. A ‘must have’ for any Christmas 45 collection. Good luck adding this gem to yours.
This 1950 45 visually grades a nice shiny VG+ (leaning heavily towards VG++) with a few very light signs of use. Spot-checked. The disc plays nice and strong. There is a small index sticker on the ‘A’ side label. Come in its original MGM sleeve making for a complete Merry Christmas package.
