Recorded before Led Zeppelin, and likely before he'd left The Yardbirds, this SEALED copy of "No Introduction Necessary" was originally supposed to be a solo album "Super Sessions" album by new (then-1967) singer Keith De Groot, with back up by guitarists ALBERT LEE of Ten Years After, and Jim Sullivan, but both Lee and Sullivan were unable to complete the sessions, so in came JIMMY PAGE of Led Zeppelin, then of the Yardbirds, to finish the tracks. Along with these great guitarists was Zep's bass / keyboard player JOHN PAUL JONES, and engineer extraordinaire GLYN JOHNS, later producer for tons of bands, including The Rolling Stones, Elton John and the Eagles. This is a UK Import, recorded in 1967 then reissued in 1984, among other dates. This is a great rock album from some of rock n rolls greatest players. This is a SCARCE SEALED COPY in excellent shape. Though the cover was printed on typically light EU cardstock, the cover has NO bends, has the complete SHRINK WRAP with no tears or holes, and what looks like, through the plastic, to be very good edges as well. While I haven't heard this, I've read reviews that say it is a great sounding album, well produced, full of amazing playing.
