Our goal at Waxecstatik is to become a Premier Vinyl LP, Rare book, and Collectibles Seller here on eBay. We grade all our items strictly and conservatively. Blue Note Records BLP 1514, this is an original mono pressing - NOT a reissue - of the classic Jimmy Smith LP "A New Sound - A New Star". This pressing has the "767 Lexington Ave NYC" address notation, with both the infamous "ear" and "RVG" clearly marked in the trail off; there is a "deep groove" under the label on both sides.
Cover in decent condition, has som taping to spine edge and some splitting mostly to top edge, has a sticker with the number 2 on it on the front cover (easily removed) and an address stamp on the back cover.
Vinyl in nice condition, has a few light marks that given the rarity of this LP lead me to grade this as NM-, please see my grading legend below for more details / info. Playback is solid throughout - occasional crackle at the beginning of each side some light pops and clicks throughout. while labels are crisp. Only Lexington copy of this one I have ever come across. NO RESERVE!
