Description

J.J. CALE - Naturally, his first album. Shelter SW-8908 - original sealed promo copy. NOTE: Shelter was distributed/produced by Capital Records, and in the early '70s, the only mark on Capitol's promo copies was the large punch-out hole in the top right corner of the cover that you can see in the scan. THIS IS NOT A CUT-OUT. I worked in radio at the time and can attest that this is an original sealed promo copy. The shrinkwrap is not quite intact-- a chunk on the bottom back is missing and the bottom 3" of the opening is exposed, but the record is still sealed and unplayed. Cover is in NM- condition with the promo hole and its corner creased and very slight wear on the bottom edge where the shrink is missing (the shrinkwrap still covers more than 90% of the cover).
