This is a unique vintage, very early, AUTOGRAPHED Joan Baez vinyl album.

 

 

JOAN BAEZ  numbered + signed FOLSINGERS 'ROUND HARVARD SQUARE


What makes this album so special:


Original tapes were originally recorded in May 1959.


This is a hand numbered album # 974 of a limited edition of this high fidelity recording from VERITAS Folksong series—1960—Vol.1, No.1.

 

The album cover was autographed by Joan Baez on March 25, 2008 at the Lebanon Opera House in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The ticket stub to that concert is included to support the provenance of the autograph.

 

It has an old onion skin sleeve which may or may not be original.


 

Content:

 

There are 9 tracks on each side. Joan sings all nine on side 1 and track 9 on side 2.

The label has virtually no ring wear.

Side 1 reads: XTV 62202

Side 2 reads: XTV 62203


 

Condition:

 

I am not a professional grader, but I estimate that the condition of the record is about VG+. There is only one small scratch on the last track of side 2. I don’t believe it interferes much with the sound quality.


The album cover I would say is G-VG. It shows signs of wear but not too severe. The top seam is split about 2/3’s across but is not very frayed. The bottom seam is split about 1/4 across.
