1st UK 1970
JODY GRIND "FAR CANAL", 100% ORIGINAL U.K. FIRST PRESSING from 1970, released on TRANSATLANTIC with the catnr. TRA 221 and A1/B1 matrix numbers. Record is professional cleaned with V.P.I. cleaning machine, and completely audio checked: The heavy vinyl with just a couple of slight surface hairlines/paper scuffs, NO really deep scratches, looks excellent, plays excellent+ and better; just a FEW slightly crackling places, super sound/dynamic. The front laminated cover , NO splits, stamps, tears etc., in vg++ to ex condition with just a few edge creases. Their second and last album and VERY VERY RARE PROG-PSYCH record too .... The track We've Had It is one of the long lost classic tracks on par with "Nights in White Satin" "Whiter Shade of Pale" etc.
Vinyl: EX. A sublime copy with only two hairlines, not played much at all!! This is an LP that has been looked after and treated with due respect. It is indeed megarare now in this kind of condition. Nothing beats this, the original first press with marvellous sound separation. This vinyl is the original ultra heavy kind, no re-issue could ever match the tonal quality of this essential vinyl.Needless to say NO jumps, clicks or ticks. This will be a fantastic upgrade for most long time collectors!!
Sleeve: VG+ to EX. Light creases to the front only. NO splits, NO tears, NO writing, NO smudging etc.
Labels: NM. No marks writing etc.
This is a unique investment opportunity!!! The next prog album to go completely through the roof. Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day. Get this while you still can. This value of the album is only going to go one way ... up and up ... until it will be totally unavailable at all for a reasonable price.
