JOE GIBBS – HIJACKED / LIFE IS DOWN IN DENVER – Amalgamated 7". AMG-865
1970 recording on the Amalgamated Records label – 7-inch 45-rpm catalogue number AMG -865, Joe Gibbs: Hijacked / Life is Down in Denver.
The disc has MANY surface marks and light scratches but plays much better than expected. Side A has a brief crackle BEFORE the start and possibly 3 / 4 faint noises (but these are probably just the backing – difficult to tell !) Side B has light crackle for first few seconds and occasional faint ticks/light crackle. Overall the listening quality is excellent. The labels have the owner’s name in ink on both sides and evidence of sticky label removal on side B. Supplied in plain card sleeve.
