JOE HARRIOTT JOHN MAYER INDO JAZZ FUSIONS II 1968 BLUE BLACK COLUMBIA MONO VINYL LP
Sleeve Condition: Ex to Ex+, clean, undamaged with very little evidence of wear.
Record Condition: Ex with minimal sleeve withdrawal marks which do no affect play in anyway. No groove damage or stylus scuffs or scratches. A very nice, original, first press (1U stamper code) copy of this hard to find, Jazz fusion classic.
Increasingly tough to turn up and in this condition especially difficult. I'm also currently listing the 1966 Indo-Jazz Suite original, vinyl LP.
By the time Fusions II was released, Mayer and Harriot had delved deeper into the idea of Indo.Jazz fusion, literally invented by them and this is highly polished in terms of performance and recording quality. The entire album gradually absorbs you into it as you listen. Given a couple of minutes of the stylus hitting the first track the whole album will just suck you in. You will begin to wear the music like a favourite baggy shirt, and you'll never want to take it off. In fact, it gets under your skin in a most pleasing fashion. You will want to hear it again and again. The music is so multilayered it would take a long time before one really tires of it.
