Description

Up for auction is a super rare copy of the Joe Hinton album "Funny (How Time Slips Away) released on Backbeat Records (BLP 60) in 1964.  This is an original, mono pressing, not a cheap reissue.  Album is still in its original opened factory shrink wrap.  This album was the very first title released on Backbeat Records.  Cover is in fantastic condition with virtually no signs of wear.  On the front cover, middle of right edge where the shrink wrap has pulled back there is one small spot of rubbing, but other than that, grade the cover Near Mint (NM).   The vinyl record is in beautiful shape, high gloss and super shiny.  No obvious scratches or scuffs, super clean.  Maybe the faintest signs of the disc having been taken in and out of the paper inner sleeve.  I seriously doubt this record has been played more than once.  Very pristine looking.  Grade the vinyl Near Mint (NM).  I doubt you'll come across another original copy of this Soul classic in this top condition any time soon.  A true collector's copy.  Archival condition.  Many copies have sold for twice as much as I'm asking.  Great deal!
