In 1987, and THIRTY FIVE years ago, American guitar wizard Joe Satriani released his second album. He titled it 'Surfing With the Alien', and it's actually really good! Satriani taught guitar lessons to such amazing guitar players as Steve Vai, Larry LaLonde from Primus, and Matallica's Kirk Hammet! Satch is always going to be one of the most prolific and underated guitarists out there! This stellar release gave us the title track, and "Satch Boogie", which are two great tracks! From a time when Satriani still had hair! Lol

A special limited edition picture disc LP was released in 1987 for this hard rockin' record. And as usual with these limited edition releases, copies can go for big buck$! But not here, and not today! This copy looks really good. There ARE some surface marks on both sides. (But you have to look really good, and close, to see them.) More on the B side than on the A side. This was displayed on someone's wall, perhaps? (I don't ask too many questions...I buy and sell on a regular basis.) I can't vouch for the sound, as I never play specialty vinyl, such as pic discs and colored records. And the era is the 80s, and most pic discs still sounded terrible at that time, anyway!
