Description
I grade conservatively and take a lot of time to properly list my records so please bid with confidence. If you have any questions, please contact me through the 'ask seller a question' link on this page.
ATTENTION international bidders!
Please understand that altering the final price of any online purchase to avoid customs fees is illegal. Since I process every order digitally, the shipping label affixed to the package will show the exact cost of the item. I am an honest seller and cannot alter the amount, so please do not ask me to do so.
RECORD packaging / shipping method:
I am a record collector who understands the importance of securely packing records. I always pad the package well to prevent shifting during the shipping process. I also use industry-standard shipping boxes which are specifically designed for shipping records. Records are shipped outside their sleeves (if a sleeve is included) and covers to prevent damage during transit.
Here's a rather rare latin soul / boogaloo record from Joe Torres. Very clean album here on the World Pacific label, looks and sounds excellent. Please read below for full details:
Strong VG++ to NM- (conservatively graded)
The record has been cleaned on my VPI machine. Great music, awesome sound, clean and clear (just check the clips). Vinyl surface is smooth and free of marks, there may be an ultra light scuff that I missed but I believe the pictures provided here correctly describes the record. There were no skips during playback on my turntable, the LP played beautifully... please feel free to check out the sound clips below. This is a nice original here, worthy of any collection. Record looks as the pictures show on the left.
The actual, unedited sound file below is provided by my Yamaha P-520 Direct Drive TT with Digitrac 280E cartridge @ 1.5 grams /// I can't guarantee the record will sound exactly like the file below since all turntables are equipped differently.

The labels look great, just check the pictures for a better idea! Nice overall.
Record Cover:
Cover is in beautiful shape. 7 to 8 or so out of 10 or graded at a strong VG++ to NM-. Still in the shrink (couple stickers on the shrink), this cover has been well preserved for decades. Very slight ring wear (looks limited to the shrink). Seams are all in great shape. A couple corners have very light rubs but are overall very nice. Again, the original shrink has kept this record safe and sound, just as the pictures show. Spine print reads clearly. There is a section of shrink missing near the top at the spine but the cover still looks awesome..
Inner Sleeve:
The original World Pacific record sleeve comes with the record and is in nice shape sans a small split at one side.

GRADING: I will have the Goldmine Standard in mind when grading but will be taking plenty of pictures and providing text to represent the record's condition.
"Goldmine Standard" grading: SS = Still Sealed Never opened. Any flaws (torn shrinkrwrap, creasing) will be indicated in the description. NM- = Near Mint Minus Has been opened, but is still in excellent condition - nearly flawless.
VG+ = Very Good Plus
Vinyl: May have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only "barely detectable" audible cracks or pops. A slight noise at the beginning is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless. - Cover: May only have the slightest signs of normal wear.
VG = Very Good
The majority of records (worth selling) fall under this grade. - Vinyl: May crackle, pop or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally, never continuously, and not more loudly than the music being listened to. - Cover: Normal used cover wear such as ring wear and split seams. If there is abnormal damage such as tears or markings, but the seller still feels that it qualifies as a "VG", the damage must be described in comments attached to the item.
