JOE VENUTI'S BLUE FOUR
"THE WILD DOG"
1928 OKeh recording with Eddie Lang, Don Murray & Rube Bloom
CONDITION: See Description Below
( light surface marking and staining consistent with age; an enlarged spindle hole to allow for correct centring on the
turntable; needs a little extra stylus weight at the start of the side; a couple of tiny corrosion spots towards the end of the side
which gently sound; quiet surfaces and plays superbly! )
This incredibly rare copper metal mother (positive) is playable with a normal 78 stylus.
This metal provides unrivalled sound quality and is the closest you can hope to get to
the original 1928 Studio performance; sound sample provided below!
Supplied with the original German Odeon storage envelope
