This is another of my UNPLAYED records (there are maybe another 20 to list including a couple of biggies:Cosmic Eye and Ginhouse!)... They came from an employee of a record company who was given them by various record companies..He stored them away in a box (Away from direct sunlight) where they remained unplayed and untouched for nearly 40 years!.. I seriously doubt that you will EVER find a better copy..I don't use the grade MINT very often,but this is as close are you are going to get!. His classic first solo album made after he left The James Gang and before he joined The Eagles,an overlooked gem of early seventies American rock music!!..If you don't know this album,it's one you GOT to here as it verges almost on the "Masterpiece" level!!. This is a Probe label issue (SPBA 6268,UK pressing from 1972)..Most copies that surface are ABC/Dunhill issues.... It has A1/B1 matrix numbers (A first press) and a "Factory Sample" sticker to one of the labels..(Factory samples were given to high ups in the music world before the record even got to the shops!).The sleeve (it's a non laminated Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold),easily grades as NEAR MINT..(it has TINY wear to one corner only)..It has NO other defects..The colours are bright and unfaded,there is no age fading,all the edges are straight with no rubbing,there is no discshape and the gatefold creaks as you open it..
It really is a TOP condition sleeve,best I have ever seen (not that this album turns up too often!)..It has no rips or tears,no writing or scribble,no sellotape or tapemarks and no seam splits..All the text on the spine is legible..
Visually,the disc looks like NEW..It has no marks,scratches,scuffs or other disfigurements..It is still super clean and shiney with the sheen that only virgin vinyl has!!!.. I normally play grade everything..Even the cleanest looking record may have been played on a worn out needle and only a play grade will reveal the true sound quality... I have NOT play graded this album as I know that it has never been played and I would prefer to leave the honour of first play to the lucky winner! The lables are undamaged and there is NO spindle wear to the areas around the centre holes.. UK buyers are welcome to collect this in person or from The Southend Record Fair (10th October and then the second Sunday in each month),where there are LOADS of classic albums and singles (from all genres) offered for sale...NEW VENUE for this fair is West Leigh Schools (SS9 2JB) on the A13...POSTAL COSTS

Shipping
All items are securely and professionally packed..Records are shipped out of their jackets to prevent seam splits..If there is an inner sleeve or a picture sleeve,then the disc will be packed in a plain white sleeve.. I try and keep shipping costs to an absolute minimum,byut Paypal don't help by taking commission on the postal costs!!
All items are posted the day that payment is recieved..
