Description
Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on: TITLE & ARTIST: "Guitaration Gap" - by Joe and Jody Maphis on the Chart Records label (CHS 1042-Stereo), in beautiful original stereo sound released circa 1970. CONDITION: JACKET - VG++ (Jacket has extremely light age wear and light corner dings - please see actual album in photo); VINYL - VG++ (Chart's shiny and glowing vinyl has a few light scuffs - Visually Graded under custom spotlight). SPECIAL FEATURES: This very rare and wonderful Joe and Jody Maphis guitar album features delightful interpretations of fine songs of the day, plus a great tribute tune, "Scruggin' It", in honor of Earl Scruggs (who coincidentally wrote the fine liner notes). Extremely hard to find in this superb condition, this is a real jewel. TRACKS: Guitaration Gap, Fire and Rain, If I Kiss You, Sippin' Pickin' and Flippin', Celito Lindo, Scruggin' It, Lookin' Out My Back Door, Ride Ride Ride, The Letter, and Billy In the Low Ground. Thanks! If you have further questions about condition or content, please don't hesitate to ask. You may bid with unworried confidence. Our sales history is your assurance of absolute integrity. Thank you and good luck. OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
