John Coltrane - Blue Train vinyl LP
Blue Note BSTF 81577 (French pressing)
Vinyl: VG+ Mainly visually graded, but also partially play-tested and sounded excellent. Checking quiet passages and lead-ins to songs, there was virtually no noticeable extraneous/surface noise.
I'd say the only thing holding this disc back from a NM rating is that at the start of side 1 there is a small area of light surface marring that seems to be causing a bit of minor noise. I did not notice any other imperfections. Very clean, nice record!
Cover: NM Tiny bit of corner wear. Distributor/import sticker on front cover.
Original paper inner sleeve is in excellent condition with no rips or seam splits.
I believe this is most likely a late 1970s or early '80s reissue.
Has been stored in dry, clean, climate controlled, smoke-free area.
Mobile Fidelity archival quality inner sleeve also included.

Vinyl records are professionally packed for shipment with the record and inner sleeve being placed outside of the cover to avoid splitting any cover seams while in transit.
Cover and record are placed in a plastic outer sleeve and sandwiched between sheets of bubble wrap and cardboard stiffener inserts before being sealed in a sturdy cardboard LP mailer.
Vinyl LPs are graded using the following categories - which are based on the Goldmine Record Grading guidelines: NM, VG+, VG, G
After being cleaned, records are carefully sight-graded under bright lights. If records are also play-graded, this will be noted in description. Records are placed in clean, new inner sleeves after cleaning and grading is complete.
I try to grade conservatively and accurately and call attention to any flaws/damage as much as practical so as to minimize any unpleasant surprises and to make sure you will be happy with your record when it arrives.
