Description
Up for auction is Blue Train by John Coltrane. Blue Note BLP 1577.
Disc: VG+. Second press 47 W63 no (R) labels with P or "ear", stamped RVG, deep groove, 9M, and beaded edge. Disc is very nice with light hairlines and scuffing. No feelable marks.
Cover: VG. Laminated cover with 47 W 63rd address. White/grey type on front. Photo of Curtis Fuller does not have the print error. Cover has small seam splits on top and bottom, and a 2-inch split on the spine. There is some light edge flaking and lamination peel. Small writing on back cover in pencil, and some faint pink discoloration.
All records have been professionally cleaned on a VPI machine.
