Description
John Coltrane “The Heavyweight Champion, The Complete Atlantic Recordings”. Rhino/Atlantic Jazz Gallery Records #71984, released in 1995. 12-LP boxed set, numbered limited edition #1096/3000.

Coltrane’s 10 LPs for Atlantic Records plus more than an hour of never-before-released material on a newly designed gatefold double-LP and a booklet in a deluxe box.
The outer box has some shelf wear along bottom edge (see photo #1), scuffs on top right corner of front (see photo #2), and a dent on the upper left hand corner from shipping.
The individual record covers are all in NM/EX condition with a small dent all the bottom left hand corners… “Ole Coltrane” also has a small bend near the edge in the upper right hand corner.
The booklet has small scuffs near the spine on the front and back (see photo #5 for detail). It also has a small bend on the upper right hand corner and some general signs of handling.
The records in this 12 LP set are in excellent condition. Many look unplayed, but here is a list of a few that would grade below NM:

“Ole Coltrane”: EX small scuffs on both sides.
