For auction is JOHN COLTRANE's "Coltrane's Sound," on Atlantic 1419, MONO, 1964. With McCoy Tyner, Elvin Jones, Steve Davis.
SOUND:VG+ or better
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The sound is wonderful! Clean and clear. Nothing else to say!
VINYL: VG+ or better
Visually, the vinyl looks great. Really nice. The record is on white promo labels. Runouts are etched as follows: "A-12073-A // A-12074-B"
COVER: VG+
The cover is very nice. The edges are solid and straight, with a little wear on the lower right by the corner. The upper left corner also has a little bump. Front cover is very clean without marks or scuffs, with a low-lustre sheen. The front has a radio-catalogue sticker in the upper left corner. The back cover is also very clean and unmarked. A little yellowing around the edges. Slight ring-mark on bottom.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
