Interplay for 2 Trumpets and 2 Tenors Prestige Records LP 7112
Please check the new postal rates to your address before bidding! Especially international bidders! The Post Office raised them again at the beginning of 2013
Rare jazz blowing session with John Coltrane, Bobby Jaspar, Idrees Sulieman and Webster Young. Also playing are Kenny Burrell, Mal Waldron, Paul Chambers and Art Taylor. Sleeve has glossy front and matte back. Noticeable wear and aging on flats, with "Not for Sale" ink stamps on back and a name in ball point pen on back at center of opening edge. Corners are rubbed and there's a two inch split in the bottom right corner. Small amount of paper loss at the base of the spine. Thumb crease on front opening edge just above the center. The vinyl is only in GOOD condition - which is to say there are numerous surface scuffs and scratches. The vinyl plays through on Side Two and gets most of the way through Side One before getting caught in a repeat lock about halfway through "Anatomy". Other than in this trouble spot, the vinyl sounds remarkably good, with trace amounts of surface noise of various levels that while noticeable at times never overwhelms the music.
