Extremely rare UK Import pressing of John Coltrane On West 42nd Street, recorded in 1957 on the CBS REALM JAZZ label.  This album features Wilbur Harden on flugelhorn, Curtis Fuller on trombone, Tommy Flanagan on piano, Doug Watkins on bass and Louis Hayes on drums.  This is a rare glimpse into the early hard-bop style of Coltrane, outside the confines of the Miles Davis Quintet, in a stellar group of even younger hard-boppers from Detroit.  Record is Mint-minus and the cover is Very Good-plus. Slight ring wear on back cover.?
