Description
John Coltrane Quartet-"Ballads" LP. 1963 Impulse Records (Mono/A-32/Van Gelder & Bell stamps). Rare/original/in-demand early 60's Hard Bop/Avant Garde Jazz LP by the great saxist. Cover is clean w/no seam splits, a couple of small black pen touch ups, & light aging on inside gatefold. Record has some scattered surface hairlines, some inner sleeve scuffs not affecting play, & some light spindle marks but plays strong & loud (nice looking copy).
In the next several months, I will be listing many original 1950's & 1960's original pressing Jazz records. Blue Note, Prestige, Riverside, Jazzland, Contemporary, Pacific Jazz, Atlantic, & many other labels.
