This auction is for JOHN COLTRANE - COLTRANE impulse records stereo a-21 The glossy laminated gatefold cover is vg showing some light wear. The front looks good the rear is fairly good as well but does show flaking of laminate at the opening. All seams are solid and look good. The bottom 2 corners of the cover are dinged and show paper loss. The record is vg with a nice gloss but does show some light marks. The record under bright and normal light shows some light marks here and there none of these are bad but there are quite a few. Some of these are scuffs to the sheen but the record does still have a nice gloss to it. The playback on the record is a vg and better at points as the record has great fidelity and many of the defects are overwhelmed by the music. This record does have the Van Gelder stamp to the dead wax.
