PRESTIGE 7142 VERY RARE METRONOME PRESSING.

Vinyl is in near mint condition. This is one very heavy LP! Metronome is very sought after because of the high quality that they produced. They were the only label in the 60's that got European pressing rights from the Prestige label, and still hold a very high collector's price!

Vinyl would get a near mint rating from me, but the only (very minor) flaw is a few spindle marks near the center hole, which means that this LP has been played before, but absolutely no other sign of wear, or scratching!

Cover is in VG+ condition. A slight showing of the actual LP on the back side, and the edges are very slightly discolored after so many years, but that has to be expected.

A fantastic earlier Coltrane release with the beautiful recordings of "I Want to Talk About You" and "Theme For Ernie".

 I am selling in e-bay in the USA even though I am located in Denmark. It just isn't possible for me to send to the US for $4, so I am asking to add the extra $11 on to the final sales price. Shipping an LP to the US from Denmark is MORE costly than $15, but nonetheless, that is what I will charge. I have contacted e-bay about this maximum shipping problem for people selling LP's outside of the USA, and they suggested that I sell via e-bay UK, but then I would just have the same problem with shipping to the UK...so.... I hope that you can understand my predicament.

Please have a look at any other LPs that I may be auctioning at this time.

As is with most of the LP's from this 600+ collection, the quality is VERY VERY high!

This LP is part of a 600+ collection that I'm selling piece by piece. Bought from a serious collector of jazz (mainly modern) including Blue Note, Verve, Riverside, Contemporary...and other labels. Almost all LP's are in outstanding condition. Many look as if they have never been played! There are many more artists to come! Plenty of Miles Davis, Bud Powell, Cannonball Adderley etc...
