THE TRANSFIGURATION OF BLIND JOE DEATH - vinyl LP

Number: TAK 7015 There is a bar code sticker on the back, applied to the cover, beneath the shrink wrap, which has the number ST-72715 at the top of it, above the bar code. I cannot tell for certain, but it appears there was not any bar code printed on the cover itself beneath the sticker. See photo.
Vinyl: SEALED There is a hole in the shrink wrap which appears to be a breathing hole that was made too big at the factory. It is about 1 inch by 1 1/2 inch, located just beneath the 'E' in "FAHEY" on the front and should no become larger if handled carefully.

Terms for shipping/handling and combined shipping on LPs purchased within 7 day period: $4.00 USA (add 75 cents for each additional) MEDIA; $8.50 for Canada, FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL (add $3.00 for each additional); $15.50 elsewhere , FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL (add $3.50 for each additional) . If shipment outside US weighs more than 4 pounds (normally 6 LPs), it will have to go PRIORITY, which is very expensive.
Seller is not responsible for shipments lost or damaged; it is responsibility of customer to insure shipment, if desired. Insurance US is $1.75 for the first $50 of coverage, and 45 cents for each extra $50 of coverage. Overseas insurance requires shipment via PRIORITY.

Foreign buyers: A customer in Norway recently questioned me about his customs fee, claiming I should have filled out the customs form differently than the Post Office people here had instructed me to fill it out. THE POSTAL CLERKS KNOW ME TO BE A SELLER, SO DO NOT ASK ME TO LABEL PACKAGES AS GIFTS, RATHER THAN PURCHASES OR GIVE A FALSE DOLLAR AMOUNT VALUE. I am willing to comply with requests to the extent that I can, within the regulations, in order to help avoid or minimize your customs fees, but I cannot falsify information.
Grading of vinyl is done almost entirely by sight, and I do not grade down for what I call factory marks (unless their extreme nature puts them in a category with scratches, so they are likely to affect the play). These are scuff-type marks that you find on brand-new albums which do not affect the sound, and are not scratches, but are normally created by the mold removing substance that is injected and sometimes leaves totally harmless marks in unusual patterns on the vinyl. They are usually not present on such high-end vinyl as Deutsche Grammophon or Editions EG, but are extremely common on the American popular music labels. Questionable looking marks are often tested on a turntable, but most records are only sight graded using the MINT, NEAR MINT, EXCELLENT, VERY GOOD, GOOD, FAIR, POOR, scale, with intermediate levels and plus or minus levels as well, a scale which I feel corresponds at an intuitive level to the scale used for other collectibles such as cards and books.
