Up for your consideration is this very rare 1974 test pressing of "Free Beer And Chicken" by John Lee Hooker with Joe Cocker contributing to the final two cuts on side "B". The actual name of the LP does not appear anywhere, but a comparison of the playlist confirms that this is the original test pressing for this album. The playlist with credits and times is fortunately present. John Lee Hooker needs no introduction, since his recorded blues career spans decades. The same goes for Joe Cocker.
The vinyl is visually graded a strong VG+ (the highest grade I give), with no issues to report. The labels are clean with no spindle marks. The inner sleeve is generic and thought to be original. The cover has the original notations on it, residual tape, a bit of a split and is otherwise a generic white sleeve that you would expect for this type of LP. The play list sheet is wrinkled and a bit beat up, but gives most of the pertinent information on the disc. It is what it is. Overall, a really fine copy of an extremely rare record. I tend to grade conservatively. You won't be disappointed.
So, if you need this ultra rare documented test pressing to fill a gap in that blues collection of yours, why not toss in a bid? I don't think another will surface soon (if ever)! Offered at a fair open and NO RESERVE!!

All LP's are cleaned on a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine, inserted into new anti static sleeves and then into new 3 mil outer sleeves prior to shipping. I ship only in new designated record shipping cartons with reinforced inserts.

California buyers will be charged 7.75% sales tax unless a signed California resale card is provided prior to shipping. Just a number won't due.
I charge only actual shipping costs plus a small "handling fee". Ebay has a gag order on us about discussing insurance, so this covers insurance, delivery confirmation and the extra shipping costs recently imposed on sellers. Sorry!
