Description

JOHN LEE HOOKER AND HIS GUITAR 1949 to 1951

ADVENT LP 2801

This was a limited edition issued in the mid-sixties of Hooker’s work between 1949 and 1951 and much prized by collectors in those early years of blues appreciation.

The record is in stunning condition, totally unmarked and glossy.

The sleeve likewise is undamaged, not even a creased corner, and even contains the Roneo’d flyer for the next release of Jimmy Roger’s material.

I would find it hard to believe that there is a better copy existing.
