JOHN LEE HOOKER Signed "Transfer of Copyright" Document, 1980's. Measures 8.5' by 11". Fine Condition w/ light fold marks. Signed in pen at the bottom by the late Blues Legend, JOHN LEE HOOKER.Guaranteed Authentic for Life of the Document. A Simple but Formal Document for the Sale of Copyrights for Two (2) Recorded Works (THE HEALER and JOHN LEE HOOKER AND FRIENDS '88). Sale is for $1 (ONE DOLLAR). Remember... This is a Signed Document. Autographs on Photos, etc. by JLH are not in great abundance and signed documents rarely come up for sale. I met him once after a show at Wolf Trap Farm Park in Vienna, VA.. It took him a long time to sign his name on a photo. It was truly a chore for him and his kindness stopped with the one signature. If I hadn't mentioned that I knew Jimmy Thackery from the Nighthawks (he called him "Jimmy Nighthawk"), I beleive he would have balked altogether. So... this is Rare. From my 30+ year collection of autographs and signed contracts. Please use the "microscope" function supplied by Ebay to personally assess the condition and fine points of this Rare Contract.
