I have up for bids one JOHN LEE HOOKER SINGS & PLAYS THE BLUES High Fidelity LP album by Chess Records. If you are an avid record collector you will absolutely want this rarer that rare album. Forget what you have seen before, because this album is what is labeled as a "Review Copy".

It has a white label instead of the traditional black one that was released to the general public. I have done extensive research on this and have not found another one like it. But I was told that a few of these were made as a pre-release before the ones for the general public were made. I can't verify that though. What I think it is , is a copy that was released to a radio station for on air play,but that is just my thought. But I can tell you that I have seen quite a few black labeled versions of this album but I have not seen another one with a white label

The Jacket is in great shape and there are some surface marks on the record but no deep scratches. it plays well.

I don't know anything about grading records but I will say is, It is in overall great shape.
