Rare UK 7" 45 RPM with White SLEEVE.
Original 1974 EMI PSR 369.
Condition Record EX small writing on Bside label. See scan.

An Apple Record, an EMI Recording.
Pressed in very limited numbers (less than 100) and issued to promote the release of Whatever Gets You Thru’ The Night, which features on the B Side.
EMI Records Director of Repertoire & Marketing Bob Mercer interviews John Lennon in 1974. The single includes a special message to the sales force, which was intended as a motivational tool to encourage them to sell the single.
This promo was rated as the #43 rarest record in the world by Record Collector magazine in their December 2010 issue. The 2010 edition of said magazine’s Rare Record Price Guide values a mint copy at £2000.
The interview was subsequently included as one of several bonus tracks on the expanded 2005 CD reissue of John ‘s Walls and Bridges album.
