Description

A rare demonstration copy - not for sale ("A" label) of John Lennon's classic "Imagine" released on Apple R6009. With "Working Class Hero" on side two.

There are no noticeable surface marks and whilst there is the occasional feint background noise, it plays through in excellent condition and, obviously, no sticking or jumping of the stylus. The matrix and stamper on side 1 are 7YCE21775-1 AND '1' G. The labels are in great shape with no writing or noticable spindle wear.

The picture sleeve, with the "Released as a single for the first time in the UK" flash does have some light rubbing and ringwear. Please see my photographs. But, like the labels, has no writing.

Standard postage and packing within the United Kingdom will be £1.50. If you prefer recorded delivery this will be at £ 2.25. IFor bidders within the EU the standard (uninsured) postage charge will be £2.30 If you require postal insurance please contact me for the applicable rate. Succesful bidders from outside of the EU will be notified of the charge to their Country after the auction closes. I cannot accept responsibilty for the loss of uninsured mail.
