Rare 1971 Australian JOHN LENNON Quadraphonic IMAGINE Lp with original spiral inner sleeve. Issued on APPLE picture label (CAT # Q4PAS 10004) - side one has a picture on label of Lennon himself. Has the Quadraphonic System logo on both the front & rear cover - also has this logo plus 'QUADRAPHONIC' in large capital letters on both labels, in the top right corners - same for cover. Comes with original thick inner lyric sleve and postcard of John with dog.
"John Lennon's IMAGINE album was the only Apple quad title ever released in LP form. Since EMI had decided on the CBS/Columbia SQ system for their Quad LP releases, IMAGINE surfaced as an SQ LP in the UK and in Australia. It was also available in Japan in the "RM" format. Vinyl itself is EX, played but without significant marks. Cover is very strong EX+, spibe is nice and straight. Has original inner lyric sleeve and postcard.- both in EX+ condition too, very nice rare item - don't miss out!
