Description

Offered here is a Vintage LP "John Lennon Sings the Great Rock & Roll Hits, Roots" on Adam VIII Records, USA Pressing.

This Record meets all the below criteria for Authenticity:

COVER

1. The Spine reads "Great" (not greatest).

2. You can see John's shoulder in the lower-right corner (most counterfeits lose the shoulder).

3. Cover construction is white poster-board not brown cardboard (look inside cover).

4. Printing is clear and decent (though not top-quality).

5. Spelling is accurate (e.g. "stereo" not "estero")

RECORD

1. Orange Label, average weight vinyl.

2. Normal size Labels.

3. Catalog # A 8018 etched into trail-off area.

4. "Bell sound" stamped into trail-off area.

 

These points will identify an original from a fake in the great majority of cases,

however, the observations & attributes listed above are not exhaustive.

CONDITION:

Disc: VG++ with some light sleeve marks.

Cover: Excellent, a few light bends, one in the top left corner.
