Description
This is John and Yoko's infamous Lp TWO VIRGINS on the APPLE label # T-5001. Please note that even though it is on the APPLE label no where on the label does it say MFD. BY APPLE RECORDS, INC. Instead it reads on the top of the apple on both sides Mfg. in U.S.A., Distributed by Tetrogrammaton Records. This Lp was quite contaversial when it was first released in the late 1960's due to the nudity on the front and back covers and was banned in many countries. However, once the brown wrapper was placed over the album jacket then it became available to the public here in the U.S. The cover on this Lp is in great condition but does have a small corner section missing on the bottom right front. Other than that the wrapper is fully intact. The vinyl itself is also in great condition but does have a few marks where it rubbed against the inner sleeve when being removed. Even though there is only one track on side one it reads "JOHN LENNON AND YOKO ONO (Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6 Published by Maclen Music, Inc - BMI). Side Two is also one track and reads JOHN LENNON AND YOKO ONO Published by Apple Publishing Co. This Lp is a must for any John Lennon collector.
