On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers called "John Mayall Plays John Mayall - Live At Klooks Kleek" and is an ORIGINAL 1965 UK MONO 'Factory Sample' TEST Pressing on the IMPOSSIBLY RARE 'Factory Sample' TEST Press 'Grooved' Decca labels!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS WAS JOHN MAYALL'S FIRST & RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!  AND THIS IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  THIS IS THE ULTRA RARE 'ONE-SIDED' UNFINISHED 'TEST PRESSING' OF THIS INCREDIBLE LP (MADE BEFORE THIS LP WAS EVEN COMPLETED!) - AND HAS TO BE REGARDED AS THE RAREST JOHN MAYALL LP EVER TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE - EVER!!!!  JUST FINDING A STANDARD 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP IN TOP CONDITION IS VERY HARD INDEED - BUT FINDING AN ULTRA RARE 'TEST PRESSING' IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE!!!!  AND THIS PARTICULAR ONE IS OF EVEN MORE INTEREST - AS IT WAS ALMOST CERTAINLY MADE WHILST THIS LP WAS STILL A 'WORK IN PROGRESS'!!!!  ONLY A ABSOLUTELY TINY HANDFUL (NO MORE THAN 2 OR 3 COPIES ONLY!) OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY - WERE EVER MADE AS 'TEST PRESSINGS', TO TEST THE SOUND QUALITY & MIX OF THE LP PRIOR TO FINAL APPROVAL!!!!  ONLY AFTER THIS 'TEST PRESSING' WAS FINALLY APPROVED - COULD THE 1ST PRESSING RUN BEGIN!!!!  AND UNLIKE LATER 1970s 'WHITE LABEL' TEST PRESSING LPs (WHICH WERE OFTEN SENT OUT TO RADIO STATIONS AS PROMOS) - 1960s DECCA TEST PRESSINGS WERE NEVER SENT OUT FROM THE FACTORY, AND USUALLY DESTROYED STRAIGHT AFTER THE MIX HAD BEEN APPROVED!!!!  LUCKILY IN THIS CASE, THIS LP WAS 'RESCUED' FROM DESTRUCTION BY A DECCA EMPLOYEE - AND REMAINED IN THEIR COLLECTION UNTIL VERY RECENTLY!!!!  INCIDENTALLY - IT IS ALSO A VERY WELL KNOWN FACT, THAT NO DECCA TEST PRESSINGS FROM THIS PERIOD EVER CAME WITH COVERS.  FORTUNATELY IN THIS CASE, THE DECCA EMPLOYEE ALSO HAD THE GOOD SENSE TO OBTAIN A COVER (AFTER THE EVENTUAL 1ST PRESSING RUN BEGAN) TO MATCH THE RECORD!!!!  AND OF COURSE (LIKE MANY OTHER DECCA TEST PRESSINGS FROM THIS PERIOD) IT IS LIKELY TO HAVE TRACK TIMING DIFFERENCES COMPARED TO THE RELEASED VERSION - AND EVEN DIFFERENT MIXES AS WELL!!!!  I ONLY WISH I HAD ANOTHER 'STANDARD' COPY TO COMPARE IT WITH - BUT I HAVE TAKEN SOME CLOSE UP PICTURES OF THE 'GROOVES' ON THE PLAYING SIDE - SO IT SHOULD BE EASY TO COMPARE TO ANY STANDARD 1ST PRESSING (IF YOU HAVE ONE), AND IF THE GROOVES LOOK DIFFERENT - THEN THIS LP UNDOUBTEDLY HAS TRACK TIMING / MIX DIFFERENCES!!!!  AND CLEARLY SHOWING THAT THIS 'TEST PRESSING' IS 100% GENIUNE IN EVERY WAY - IT HAS 1/B MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS - WHICH WERE THE 'EARLIEST' EVER!!!!  SO MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT - THIS HAS TO BE THE RAREST JOHN MAYALL LP EVER TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE (RIGHT AT THE BIRTH OF BRITISH BLUES!) - AND MUST BE REGARDED AS A TRUE 'ONCE IN A LIFETIME' OPPORTUNITY!!!!  

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1965 UK MONO 'ONE-SIDED' UNFINISHED TEST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'FACTORY SAMPLE' 'GROOVED' DECCA TEST PRESS LABEL, 1ST PRESS '1B' MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'JAMES UPTON' LAMINATED MONO COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Decca UK 'Earliest' 1st Pressing from 1965 and is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is LK 4680 on the ORIGINAL 'Earliest' 1st Press 'Factory Sample' 'Grooved' Decca 'Test Press' label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  It is also worth noting that the 'blank label' on the other side is marked with printed 'T's standing for 'Test Pressing'!!!!  The vinyl is in AWESOME condition - and obviously I am only grading the playing side here!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS AMAZING!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade MINT(Minus)!!!!  AWESOME RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The 1st Press 'James Upton' Laminated MONO Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear, VERY shiny laminate, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, only some VERY light rubbing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
