Lineup: John Mayall, Peter Green, John McVie, Aynsley Dunbar

Eric Clapton is usually thought of as John Mayall's most important right-hand man, but the case could also be made for his successor, Peter Green.
The future Fleetwood Mac founder leaves a strong stamp on his only album with the Bluesbreakers, singing a few tracks and writing a couple, including the devastating instrumental "Supernatural."
Green's use of thick sustain on this track clearly pointed the way to his use of this feature on Fleetwood Mac's hits "Albatross" and "Black Magic Woman," as well as providing a blueprint for Carlos Santana's style.
Highlights include the uncharacteristically rambunctious "Leaping Christine" and the cover of Freddie King's "Someday After a While (You'll Be Sorry)."

LABELS: The labels are CLEAN, BRIGHT but they are quite heavily spindle marked and have the original owners name on Side A (please see photographs), but the LP has obviously been well cared for
VINYL Visual: The surfaces are CLEAN and BRIGHT with a DEEP GLOSSY SHEEN. There are a few light surface marks but these have practically NO audio consequence (see detailed audio assessment below)
VINYL Audio: The audio is absolutely OUTSTANDING - CRYSTAL CLEAR, BEAUTIFUL, DEEP, RICH VIBRANT SOUND - FANTASTIC MONO DECCA LOUD CUT. There are NO scratches, NO sticks, NO jumps, NO clicks/pops - The sound quality is simply SENSATIONAL with NO groove-wear and NO distortion. A REALLY BEAUTIFUL PLAYING COPY. Must be graded EXCELLENT++ for audio - SOUNDS SUPERB THROUGHOUT - PRACTICALLY FLAWLESS PLAYBACK. NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards (please refer to my feedback and 'about me' page)
SLEEVE: The cover is in EXCELLENT condition. The front surface has a BEAUTIFUL, DEEP GLOSSY SHEEN and the unlaminated back is pretty CLEAN and FRESH. The (pinched) spine is straight and true and displays all the text CLEAR and BOLD. EXCELLENT SLEEVE
