Known as the ‘Beano’ LP, this is one from 1966. It’s on the red DECCA label with a groove.
Probably the first British blues album to have far-reaching influence on all that followed. By insisting on playing his guitar parts at stage volume in the studio, Eric pushed 60s recording technology to its very limits, sending the VU meters into the red and the white-coated Decca technicians into a panic. Recorded in 1966 the album kick started the British blues boom of the late 60s.
Record is in excellent condition – not mint but the best one I’ve seen. Mega feint line seen under strong light - but not all over. Light name on one label. It plays great. The cover has little edge creases and few handling marks on the back (it IS 51 years old!)….NOTE! this is NOT a new repressing or foreign issue!
