ORIGINAL MONO UK 1st PRESSING

'unboxed', 'unbanded', 'ffrr' (full frequency range recording) rich dark red & silver Decca UK 1st press labels with recessed centres (creating a raised outer perimeter) usually called 'ridged' labels

both are mint except for moderate spindle traces

matrix:

ARL-7297-1A    and    ARL-7298-1A

stampers:

1    and    1

 

record excellent with a few of the lightest superficial traces and insignificant hairlines from handling and play - super mono audio quality

excellent laminated (front) cover with original ½" (half inch) 'pinched' tapers to the upper and lower spine which has a few creases, but sharp and clear lettering

rear sleeve has small 'graffiti' (track timings added by the previous owner - see photos)

Printed in England by MacNeill Press, London, S.E.1.

correct original Decca inner sleeve in excellent condition with only minor creasing
