JOHN MAYALL WITH ERIC CLAPTON BLUES BREAKERS

Matrix : ARL 7297-1A / 7298-1A

This UK 1st press is on the red Decca label. It is complete with the very earliest ARL 7297-1A / 7298-1A matrix, the original polylined Decca inner sleeve and laminated MacNeill Press sleeve. 
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. It has a sensational gloss, there are just a few very light marks and a couple of extremely light wispy marks on both sides. The label is exceptionally bright, there is a name on one side but it still has sharp silver text and just light spindle wear. 

The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. Excellent clarity and separation, with just a little light background noise in places, but nothing to spoil the enjoyment of this rare earliest press at any point.

The laminated MacNeill Press sleeve is in Very Good condition. The cover image is still superb, very clear and sharp. The text is unworn and the colours are bright. There is just the very slightest edge discolouration and a couple of small laminate creases. The back has some initials and there is a little discolouration but it is still bright and the text is clear. The spine is firm with clear text.
